In August 1992, Francesco was selected with drummer Eric Kurtz to join 40 artists to represent Hawaii at the US Pavilion in occasion of the Universal Expo’92 in Seville, Spain. There, he joined Colombian bassist Alfonso Robledo to perform in the World Jazz Trio at the Belgian and New Zealand Pavilions.

In November 1983, Francesco performed in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, at the historic Teatro Ocampo with a sextet led by saxophonist Juan Alzate.  The concert was sponsored by the University of Michoacan (San Nicolas De Hidalgo).
